Our Story
In the Future of Work, more white- and blue-collar workers will become a gig worker, either after being laid off from their companies or by choice.
As gig economy gains popularity in the labour force, the social community — consisting of gig workers, middle-aged retrenched workers, housewives, retirees, students, persons with disability (PWDs) — faces various challenges, such as not having the right skill, or knowing how to market themselves.
VGig evolved from another social enterprise that the co-founders started 2 years before. We leverage on two digital explosions in recent years – increasing mobile commerce and short videos becoming the main medium of content on social media.
Using these technologies, VGig brings you a platform that helps the social community members as gig workers to offer their gig services and support their community.
